Working Together

Our mission at Youth For Christ is to reach young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus. We are passionate about pursuing students who are far from God and may have never heard the truth of the Gospel. We often have students join us at a Campus Life or City Life clubs who would never consider walking through the doors of a church.

It is our joy to walk alongside these students and help them build authentic relationships with peers and leaders. It is not uncommon to hear students explain that they have never experienced a community like Campus Life before. The journey to help students start a relationship with God does not stop at Campus Life and it would not be possible without the involvement of our ministry partners.

Katie’s* story is a perfect example of what it looks like to partner with Christian students, adult leaders, and local churches to help students find new life in Jesus. Katie has been coming to Campus Life for two years. She is bubbly, talkative, and loves to open up to others. Katie has a messy family life and enjoys the safety and loving community of Campus Life.

Over the past two years, Katie has built a relationship with Kathy* one of our Core students (Christian student leader). Kathy has been sharing her faith with Katie and encouraging her to explore a relationship with God. Over time, Kathy has earned Katie’s trust and was able to invite her to check out the local youth group. Katie is now attending youth group regularly with Kathy and has started to connect with the youth pastor. We love connecting students to local churches and watching more Christian students and adults pointing them to Jesus.
